Fleetwood Motorhome Parking Trial Goes Ahead
Motorhomes and campervans are now permitted to park overnight on the central car park at Fleetwood, Lancashire.
Parking is restricted to three consecutive nights with a £5 per night fee paid by RingGo .
The 12 month trial - beginning in October 2017 - for motorhome parking provides overnight parking only; any external activity commonly carried out on a camping site is prohibited. This includes putting out chairs, tables or other furniture, hanging out clothes or open fire or BBQs.
No caravans or trailers are allowed, vehicles must be parked wholly within the marked bays, no return allowed within 5 days
There is currently no provision for waste disposal or electric hook-up but these may be added should the trial prove successful.
It is not permitted to sleep or camp overnight in any car park, other than Central Car Park, Fleetwood.
