Truma VarioHeat

TrumaTruma will be launching a new heating system at the CMT* in Stuttgart (from 14th to 22nd January 2017)

The Truma VarioHeat is a powerful lightweight unit suitable for installation in vans, compact caravans or even as an auxiliary heater for larger motorhomes. Compact, light, flexible installation – the Truma VarioHeat is an efficient all-rounder. The new heater is suitable for vans, compact caravans and as an additional heater for larger motor homes.

Two performance classes, one size
"We have completely redeveloped the VarioHeat as the successor to our proven Trumatic E 2400 and E 4000", explains project leader Thomas Hartmann. The result is two variants with 2,800 Watts (VarioHeat eco) and 3,700 Watts (VarioHeat comfort) of heat output. Both have the same space-saving dimensions. In addition, at just 5.1 kg the heaters are extremely light – as much as 50% lighter than the Truma S heater. The compact appliances nevertheless deliver a lot of power. They heat the air quickly and distribute it evenly in the living area. This means that the VarioHeat eco provides 15% more heating output and 100% more flow rate than the E 2400.

Convenient operation
Campers can comfortably control the new heater with the digital control panel Truma CP plus VarioHeat. They can set the exact room temperature, program the timer and select the fan level. In "Eco" mode, the heating output is automatically regulated and adapted to the selected temperature. The "Boost" level heats the vehicle particularly quickly. The "Night" function provides quiet operation particularly at night. "The CP plus VarioHeat has an identical configuration to the Combi control panel. Proven functions and familiar handling make it easy for the customer to get the hang of it", says Hartmann. If campers have also installed a Truma air conditioning system, this can also be operated via the CP plus.

Flexible installation
The Truma VarioHeat can be installed in many different positions – vertically or lying flat. Almost anywhere in the vehicle. This provides the vehicle manufacturer with maximum design freedom. It will soon even be possible to install the VarioHeat under the floor. Customers will then profit from additional storage space inside the vehicle.

At the CMT trade fair in Stuttgart, visitors will be able to see for themselves the advantages of the VarioHeat at the Truma stand in Hall 7, D22. The installed heater can be seen in the Knaus Travelino UltraLight caravan in Hall 2.
