PENRITH

Penrith Town Council are going through the final stages of approval for their Draft Neighbourhood Development Plan. Within the Town Centre Parking section of the Plan there is the following proposal "2. To consider utilising an existing car park, in a non-residential area, for overnight parking for camper vans and touring caravans, with power hookup points. " [1]

This is a welcome development, hopefully it will be incorporated into the final plans.

CANTERBURY

Canterbury City Council are planing an expansion to the Wincheap Park & Ride car park, the plans include 11 dedicated motorhome bays.

We have requested further details, when available, for both of these and will include additional information when we have it.
