Bailey Alliance

The all-new Bailey Alliance motorhome range will make its public debut at the Motorhome & Caravan Show from 16th – 21st October 2018 (Stand 25 Hall 19 NEC)

It’s time to enjoy your holiday, your way as you explore the open road, discover new horizons and experience the freedom to go anywhere with the new Bailey Alliance.

Making its public debut at the Motorhome and Caravan Show on stand 19.25 (Hall 19) this October, the all-new Bailey Alliance will be available in a choice of six popular layouts.

As with its sister Bailey Advance range, all models have been assigned names using a number sequence identifying the length of the vehicle and the amount of dedicated passenger seats (e.g. the 66-2 model is 6.6 metres long and capable of transporting two people). All vehicle weights remain at 3,500 kgs or under meaning they can be driven by anyone with a full UK driving licence, without needing the Class C1 entitlement.

The line-up begins with the two-berth end washroom 66-2 and ends with the family-friendly six-berth 70-6 featuring a longitudinal drop down double bed. In between are the extremely spacious 76-2 and 76-4 models featuring a longitudinal fixed double corner bed and a transverse end washroom with a choice of either twin parallel front seats (Advance 76-2) or an L-shaped lounge with dedicated rear travel seats (Advance 76-4). Completing the line-up are the 76-2T and 76-4Ts, featuring twin single beds with a transverse end washroom, also with a choice of either parallel seat front lounge (Advance 76-2T) or an L-shaped version with two dedicated rear travel seats (Advance 76-4T).

Designed to be driven all models are powered by the latest Peugeot Boxer 2.0 Hdi, 160 bhp, Euro 6 engine with a six-speed manual gearbox. Inside driver and passenger comfort is catered for with a pair of fully adjustable front swivel captain’s seats with dual arm rests, a Peugeot Satellite Navigation system, air conditioning and engine cruise control all included as standard. This fully specified cab is, uniquely for this market sector, matched to a low-profile lightweight AL-KO AMC chassis which, thanks to its lower centre of gravity, improves both road holding and braking efficiency as well as providing larger user payloads.

Models are built using our patented Alu-Tech construction technology, cloaked in a GRP outer skin, making them more robust, more durable and yet lighter than those manufactured using conventional methods to offer greater protection against the elements to keep you comfortable, safe and secure all year round. To date over 50,000 Bailey leisure vehicles have been built with this ground-breaking technology and are currently being used around the world.

Bailey offers unique safety levels for all its motorhomes thanks to the results of a crash-testing programme to ensure that all travel seats withstand the force of a head-on impact. As a result, Bailey motorhomes have the extra support of chassis outriggers to strengthened floors, stronger fittings for items such as ovens and fridges, plus steel-framed seat base supports for all designated travel seats and a steel-framed structural bulkhead to support rear-facing designated travel seats. With ABS (Anti-lock braking system), ESP (Electronic Stability Program) as well as driver and passenger airbags also specified as standard the new Alliance can now justifiably claim to be one of the safest vehicles available today.

Alliance motorhome four-season credentials are assured with the fitment of the 4E Truma Combi heating system to maintain a regular supply of both warm air and hot water at all times. This combined with the market-leading thermal characteristics of the Alu-Tech body shell makes Alliance a genuine all-weather vehicle, a fact confirmed with the achievement of the highest rating for thermal performance (Grade III Classification of EN1646-I) in rigorous cold chamber testing.

Striking new looks both inside and out will ensure that the new Alliance motorhomes will really stand out from the crowd. Exterior aesthetics are enhanced with the introduction of a Graphite coloured cab, complete with an opening Skyview window and a fully integrated graphics scheme to announce that you travel and arrive in style.

Whilst internally the Bailey ‘Eucalyptus’ finish furniture combines with the new ‘Natural Slate’ finish worktops and matching kitchen splashbacks, plus a choice of either ‘Portland’ or ‘Wandsworth’ soft furnishing schemes to give models a level of finish normally only found in more expensive motorhomes.

As practical as they are comfortable these well-considered vehicles include a host of features designed to make your life easier. Notably these include a Fiamma F45S wind-out awning, a Truma 100 watt solar panel and a Status television aerial to make your time away in the new Bailey Advance as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

Commenting on the launch of this latest Bailey motorhome range, Managing Director Nick Howard said “The introduction of our third coach-built range, the Alliance, is a continuation of our strategic plan to expand our presence in the motorhome sector”.

“Alliance itself offers the perfect balance of comfort, style, practicality and value making it the ideal vehicle to broaden the overall appeal of our portfolio” he added.

Four of the six models of the new Alliance range will be on display for the first time on stand 19.25 at the forthcoming Motorhome & Caravan Show 2018 from Tuesday 16th – Sunday 21st October at the NEC in Birmingham
