Strong Start to 2017 for Swift Group

Swift GroupSwift Group has started the 2017 season with a full order book through to Spring 2017 following a number of critical trade events in the UK and Europe covering touring caravans, motorhomes and holiday homes.

The order levels reflect an unrivalled package of developments including new launches, transformed ranges, innovative technology, enhanced customer service and revitalised interior designs that combined with no or low price increases represents outstanding value for money.

For 2017 every Caravan and Motorhome now comes with enhanced SMART plus construction including a full GRP body-shell with new GRP balanced panel side walls; Swift Command, that has been further developed and now incorporates a Thatcham Category 6 approved pro-active tracker; and Connect Direct, an exclusive online customer service account. There are also a host of upgrades on specific individual ranges such as Alde heating on Bessacarr Motorhomes.

Swift has worked hard to absorb the additional costs associated with these developments and the impact of exchange rate fluctuations in recent months. Where possible prices have been held prices at 2016 levels, and on the transformed panel van conversion range: Autocruise Select it has lowered the entry price by nearly £10,000 to £36,490.

‘This is a tremendous start to the 2017 season for Swift and we are delighted with the positive reaction from our customers.’ commented Commercial Director Nick Page, ‘We have made significant multi-million pound investments in people, production and systems and it is pleasing to see these investments result in tangible results. With an unsettled economic climate, we have worked hard to hold prices where-ever possible and deliver outstanding value for consumers.’
