THE CARAVAN & MOTORHOME SHOW ROLLS INTO MANCHESTER FOR 2019

Caravan and Motorhome Show Manchester 2019The North’s largest outdoor leisure show for caravan, motorhome and camping fans, will be pitching up at Manchester’s EventCity from 17th – 20st January 2019 offering a wide range of inspiring ideas for lovers of the great outdoors.

This year’s show promises not to disappoint, with more on offer than ever before, including the latest in caravanning and holiday homes. Expert speakers will be on hand to share their knowledge and inspire you to explore the UK and beyond.

Whether you’re motorhome mad or a complete novice, The Caravan and Motorhome Show 2019 promises expertise from leading manufacturers and the North’s premier dealerships, so that you can take the next steps in planning the holiday of your dreams. Visitors can compare the best models side by side, alongside must have caravan and motorhome accessories and enjoy exclusive show offers and upgrade.

Visit the Swift stand and check out a vintage Eccles caravan as the model celebrates its 100 year anniversary, or if holiday homes are more up your street, take a look inside an S-pod 6, offering the latest in ingenious compact living space.

Head to The Camping and Caravanning Club for expert advice from one of the region’s premium outdoor organisation. Plus, after its success at the 2018 show, ‘My First Towing Experience’, where kids have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a mini tow car, is returning to the show for 2019!

The Camping and Caravanning Club has teamed up with top manufacturer Peg Pergo, to build three mini caravans based on the Swift Basecamp model. Hitched to a 2-seater electronic off-road vehicle, kids aged 3-10 can take a spin around a specially created track to have a go manoeuvring their own caravan.

And it doesn’t stop there, as the show offers towing experiences and motorhome manoeuvering to adults too.

If it’s entertainment you’re after, head to the Caravan and Motorhome Club stand to enjoy an exciting show opener on Club Day, Thursday 17 January, with British musician, writer and TV presenter Rowland Rivron.

Rob Debenham, Show Manager, says: “We’re really excited for the 2019 show and hope to build on the huge success of last year, which saw visitors brave the snow and attend the four days. We love welcoming new initiatives that provide a fun day out for the whole family and are excited to have built on the success of My First Towing and made it bigger and better for 2019, as well as some surprise attractions we have up our sleeve!”

With over 200 exhibitors, there is sure to be something exciting for every visitor that attends the show.

Tickets to the show also include a free show guide and free entry into the co-located Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show with live cookery demonstrations on the Food & Travel stage brought to you by Viking, and speakers including adventurer Pip Stewart, Monica Rivron, author of Caravan Cookbook, plus Ordnance Survey GetOutside Champions Anna Hughes, Dr Emma Brennand and Matthew Kettlewell.
