The must-see all-new products and UK-firsts for caravans, campervans, motorhomes and more coming to the NEC in a few weeks’ time
With just a few weeks until the Motorhome and Caravan Show rolls up to Birmingham’s NEC from 18th - 23rd October, and with over 75,000 tickets already sold , excitement is building for another stellar Show filled with the industry’s most talked about launches and inspiring UK-firsts.
With cutting edge design innovations, vamped-up interiors and modern twists on classic designs, sights are set on the latest products and updated styles.
After an unprecedented few years in the Leisure Vehicle sector seeing demand for campervans, motorhomes and caravans skyrocket like never before, industry leaders are bringing the best of the best to next month’s Show, which welcomes the finest industry manufacturers and dealers from the UK and Europe.
As the country’s biggest showcase of Leisure Vehicles, over 350 exhibitors will display their latest creations across all six days. Visitors will be able to step inside and physically compare the new for 2023 models, side-by-side, get a feel for the different specifications, furnishings and finishes as well as get up to date information by speaking directly with the manufacturers. Make sure you're wearing comfy shoes as the Show covers 11 huge halls of the NEC!
Here’s a snapshot of what’s new & not to miss for 2022/23…
Campervans
The dedicated Campervan Hall (Hall 11) is overflowing with new models and UK launches which are sure to get hearts racing. Exhibitors with new releases include:
Campervan experts can look forward to seeing the first UK appearance of the jaw-dropping off-roading Hymer Venture S (Erwin Hymer Group, Hall 20, Stand 20.35). With its sleek and sophisticated design, inflatable pop-top roof, powerful compressor and even illuminated steps to reach the upper deck, Hymer has torn up the rule book with the Venture S and it’s one not to be missed.
Auto-Sleepers (Hall 8, Stand 8.25) will be displaying its all-new model range of Coachbuilt and Van Conversions with increased specifications for the new season. Highlights include the ergonomic and stunning Warwick XL with an adaptable rear lounge that shifts from living space to a double bed or two singles, a spacious bathroom with a fully separate shower and large kitchen, making it the perfect vehicle for getaways both long and short.
Vantage Motorhomes (Hall 11, Stand 11.16) is also unveiling its all-new range of four-berth campervans - the company’s first venture outside of the motorhome world, making for a perfect everyday-to-adventure vehicle and showing that a campervan really can do it all. With two models, both on a Ford SWB Transit Custom with 6-speed manual transmission (auto will be available) and pop-top roofs, the new range from Vantage are sure to be a hit.
Motorhomes
Meanwhile on the motorhome front, enthusiasts will be treated to trying out the new Coachman Travel Master (Hall 19, Stand 19.2). Boasting the brand's usual high level of refinement and comfort, the four-berth motorhome range ticks all the boxes when it comes to quality and comfort, with two layouts to choose from including an island bed or a twin bed layout - all on a Mercedes-Benz base.
The all-new Adria Supersonic (Hall 6, Stand 6.36 / Hall 7, Stand 7.35) sees a range of A-Class motorhomes on a Mercedes-Benz base vehicle inspired by the latest in yacht, home and automotive design. Offered in four layouts, it delivers luxury on another level. Finishing touches include under-floor space for integrated utilities, insulation and storage, a large spa bathroom, ambient lighting, king-size bed and a home-style innovative kitchen.
RP Motorhomes (Hall 12, Stand 12.145) is bringing its box-fresh 7m Rebellion 2; the very latest all-wheel sprinter base from Mercedes. Designed for the future, the new interiors include an all-electric habitation and composting toilet - giving an impressive seven days’ worth of use compared to traditional chemical toilets three-four days’ worth.
Swift (Hall 7, Stand 6.33/6.39) will be showing the new 2023 Swift motorhome line-up with stylish exteriors and welcoming interiors, having dedicated countless hours of research and development to ensure that every detail of the new range is built to last and is luxuriously comfortable. The new Swift Voyager is designed for family adventures, with Ford reliability and motoring peace of mind. Built with Swift’s SMART construction body shell and with a spacious interior, it arrives with a high level of specification including a fully fitted kitchen and integrated washroom.
Caravans
Caravan connoisseurs can explore the new Knaus AZUR (Hall 17, Stand 17.32), showing off the perfect balance of style and design - in particular its innovative UV‐resistant and "self‐healing" external surface that easily absorbs pressure marks and dents. With details such as dark, cross‐grained wood, grey and light surfaces, large windows, a comfortable seating area that is more like a couch - the new AZUR offers a delightfully cosy interior with a genuine feel‐good factor.
Coachman reengineered for 2023 Caravan’s Acadia range will also be on display at the Show. Its ‘Silver Grey’ exterior sides make it stand out from the crowd whilst the VIP, Laser and Laser Xcel model ranges have been further strengthened to meet customer expectations. Its flagship Lusso range will also be on display for visitors to view.
Brand new Campod Caravans will be showing the new range of funky and lightweight small caravans (Hall 17, Stand 17.1) with its thought-out design bringing you closer to nature, including the beautiful main arch window completing the experience and giving full panoramic views.
Lion Caravans (Go-Pods Micro Tourer Caravans, Hall 12, Stand 12.98) is launching two all-new products at the Show. Firstly, the easy to tow and store CUB micro teardrop camper, which is lightweight and compact but with a kitchen to match any full-sized caravan. The new revolutionary SABRE demountable pickup camper will also be on show, with a full kitchen, king size bed and bathroom. These are not to be missed by those with a love for adventure and wanting to push the limits of what a camper can do.
Bailey of Bristol (Hall 19, Stand 19.25) will be showing four exciting touring caravan ranges. Alongside the 8ft wide Alicanto Grande and Pegasus Grande ranges will be the luxurious Unicorn and Phoenix+ models. The eagerly anticipated twin-axle Alicanto Grande Evora will be making its debut at the Show
Accessories
It’s not only vehicles on display at the Show, visitors will find halls filled with trailer tents, awnings, BBQs, e-bikes, pet products, tow-bars, security systems, travel inspiration, expert advice and a choice of UK and European destinations plus much more across the entire Show.
Just a few of these innovative add-ons for outdoor adventures include OPUS Camper (Hall 12, Stand 12.15), which will be teasing its soon-to-launch concept for its off-road and all-road folding campers: an external hot and cold shower; BBQ experts Cadac (Hall 12, Stand 8.01a), which will be raising the temperature with a cooking range including the classic Safari Chefs and an electric E Braai; and with its range of glamorous awnings and accessories, Glawning (Hall 12, Stand 12.13) - joining the Show for the first time.
Across the entire Show visitors will also be treated to launches, first looks, and redesigns from industry leaders including: Adria, Auto-Sleepers, Auto-Trail, Bailey of Bristol, Bürstner, Campods, Carthago, Chausson, Coachman, Compass, Dethleffs, Elddis, Eriba, Frankia , Globecar, Hobby, Hymer, Knaus, Laika, Lion Caravans, Malibu, Marquis, Morelo, Niesmann+Bischoff, Pilote, Rapido, Rimor, Roller Team, RP Motorhomes, Swift, Vantage Motorhomes and Weinsberg.

Free caravan towing courses, motorhome manoeuvring lessons and campervan test drives provided by leading member organisations, the Camping & Caravanning Club and the Caravan & Motorhome Club, will be available for visitors (over 25 with a driver’s licence) to get a feel for the different types of leisure vehicle available, brush-up on their driving/towing skills and build confidence behind the wheel.
